Agate:
a stone which is especially helpful for animals who live in an urban environment or who have limited access to the nature and the outdoors. Agate improves coordination among all parts of an animal’s body and can help any pet adapt more easily to any new environment. Agate attracts healing to a pet’s root chakra, providing a calming influence, groundedness, and general stability. This is especially helpful for animals who may be prone to hyperactivity and who require energetic and nutritional support in the hindquarters. Banded agate is said to work well in calming overexcited animals who are perhaps clumsy, and inn stabilising their moods and balance. Blue lace agate - the colour blue makes it a calming stone, good for anxieties, and to settle nervous animals. Moss agate is said to help children and animals to bond, particularly useful when a new pet is introduced into the home.

It is also said that the amethyst elixir can calm down hyperactive pets – it is also said to be helpful in calming dogs who bark a lot.  Amethyst is also said to deter fleas. Atelestite: good stone for promoting communication between animals and humans as it is said to make one more aware of their needs and able to related to them.  Therefore this means this is not just good for pet owners, but for anyone working with animals whether in veterinary  practice but also farmers and those running kennels, catteries, dog breeders or animal rescue charities.

Aventurine: dark green Aventurine is the most recommended variety of Aventurine to use; it is said that it initiates a deep purification of a pet’s body, especially in the vital organs. Its action is deeply soothing and uplifts overall physical health. Light green Aventurine uplifts and strengthens your pet’s most distressed organ when held against the skin. It promotes a much gentler purification of the physical body than the dark green variety and wearing it is a wonderful preventive measure against organ illness.

Azurite: a stone which is said to be good in communicating with those in utero – in the womb so is traditionally said to be helpful when worn by a pregnant animal.  It is also said to aid elderly animals to cope with their life, with the physical aches, pains and disability that age brings. 

Beryllonite: It has been traditionally used as a stone of balance to bring calmness to all mammalian classes, from pets, general animals, even human beings.  It is said to work beautifully in calming pets who are nervous, particularly when travelling, vets’ visits, fear of strangers etc.

Bloodstone: strengthens the immune system and keeps it alert and responsive to the needs of any pet’s physical body. Bloodstone's energy empowers certain components in the bloodstream that are vital to optimal immune function. This makes an animal’s body inhospitable for infections of all kinds. Bloodstone also removes burdens from the immune system as it facilitates the removal of toxins from the body and enhances the cells' absorption of nutrients.

Calcite: Blue calcite (and many other blue varieties of other stones) are said to be helpful in calming, and in working with the nervous system, as well as the skeletal system. The orange variety is good for domesticating and socialising pets and animals.  Yellow calcite is an excellent stone to use with sick animals or those who have been rehomed due to abuse. 

Carnelian: deeply relaxes a pet’s mind, emotions, and physical cells, so they can release their disharmony and disease. Left in pet’s water will encourage passivity in an animal who could be becoming slightly aggressive.

Cavansite: a stone which is said to calm sick animals, whether sick through injury or illness.

Celestite: a stone which calms a frightened animal who has been abused and rescued, bringing them to accept there is no harm for them anymore.  Orange Celestite is particularly good for animals who are needy as it encourages them to become more independent.

Cerussite: the elixir of Cerussite is said to be a good insecticide for the home, houseplants or pets.

Chalcedony: blue chalcedony is helpful in encouraging serious animals to become more playful and to be more expressive with their emotions

Charoite: calms animals who are aggressive about their territory.

Chlorargyrite: increases speed of physical growth in plants, animals and people

Chrysoprase: This stone is considered protective towards young animals, keeping them from illness. Lemon chrysoprase is said to be good for pets who may be jealous of other pets or other family members, and to calm pets who regularly have a difficult night’s sleep.

Citrine: unwinds tension and increases flexibility in the cells, organs, and body as a whole, thereby encouraging a pet to relax and move into greater overall alignment. Citrine can also help resolve conditions of the skin and eliminative organs, including the skin, intestines, bladder, kidneys, and eliminative aspects of the liver. Hematite: helpful with problems in the muscular system – particularly good where animals are kept for sports such as horses, greyhounds, whippets etc.

Holey stone: these hard to find stones are considered powerful protection stones that can be worn for protection in animals and should be hung near a pet's sleeping place to protect the pet.  These stones are generally found on a beach, the holes having been made through the natural process of erosion.

Howlite:  blue Howlite is a good stone for energising and exercising animals.

Ilmenite:  a stone found in grey, purple or black metallic.  It is said to be good for those working with animals or keeping animals as it is said to ease non-verbal communication between human and animal.

Iolite: it is a good stone to use with a pet or animal that it is difficult to get on with because of their behaviours, as it fosters a fresh and even-handed approach in training.

Jade: green jade is a good stone to ease physical issues arising from problems with the heart chakra, include circulatory issues, problems with the chest and lungs, as well as weaknesses in the immune system.  On an emotional level, healing with emerald instils harmony, balance, contentment, and brings peace and happiness.
